Student of the Month

Every month, each teacher selects a student who they feel embodies Panther PRIDE to be recognized at a surprise assembly. Family members of the selected students are invited via email.

What is Panther PRIDE?

At Anaheim Hills Elementary, we strive to demonstrate our Panther PRIDE each and every day. We show our Panther PRIDE by demonstrating these attributes through our actions and our words - in the classroom, online, and on the playground. PRIDE is defined as:

• Perseverance: Panthers show perseverance by doing something even if it is difficult. Persevering is continuing to work hard regardless of any odds or obstacles that might come up. Panthers do not give up and persevere to reach their goals.

• Responsibility: Being responsible means being dependable, keeping promises and honoring our commitments, accepting the consequences for what we say and do, and developing our potential.

• Integrity: Panthers with integrity tell the truth and act in a sincere way, treat others kindly and consistently, and doing the right things even when others are not watching.

• Dedication: Panthers show dedication by setting goals and establishing a plan to success, and by being passionate and committed to the goals they are trying to accomplish.

• Excellence: Panthers demonstrate their excellence by exhibiting our Panther PRIDE Characteristics:

  • Panthers persevere.

  • Panthers are responsible.

  • Panthers showcase their integrity.

  • Panthers are dedicated to the work and takes time to grow these characteristics.
