Drop-Off & Pick-Up

We need your help to ensure our students and families are safe during our drop-off and pick-up times. Please read the following guidelines carefully. Thank you for your cooperation!

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures

Please cooperate, be courteous, and keep the safety of all children in mind. They are our highest priority.

  • All students may enter campus starting at 7:55. The gate closes at 8:10. After 8:10, students must enter through the front office and will be marked tardy.

  • Children should only exit on the passenger side of the car to avoid being hit by traffic.

  • Park in a marked parking spaces if you plan on exiting your car.

  • Do not park or stop in front of the office until after the bus departure.

  • You can park in the Serrano Center and walk over to the school. There is a crossing guard helping families cross Nohl Ranch Rd and Serrano Ave.

  • Please DO NOT park in front of the housing complex next to the field (Kendra Dr) to drop off your child. The residents are not able to leave if the area is blocked.

Drop-Off Procedures

  • Entry Gates

    Students can enter through the Kinder Gate (by the TK & Kinder playground) or the CARES Gate (to the left of the front office.

    The TK Gate will no longer be open at drop-off.

  • For Driving Families

    Remain in your car! Please do not get out of your car or leave it unattended. This disrupts the flow of traffic.

    Park in a marked parking spaces if you plan on exiting your car.

    Children should only exit on the passenger side of the car in the drop-off zones to avoid being hit by traffic.

  • For Walking Families

    Parents are allowed to walk up to the school gates with their child during drop-off.

    Do not enter the gates or crowd the entrances.

    Staff will be on hand to guide and support all students as they enter campus. 

Pick-Up Procedures

  • For Driving Families

    Pull as far forward as possible in the pick-up line. Please do not block the bus parking. Once busses have left, please pull as far as forward as possible.

    Place your student dismissal sign on the passenger side dashboard. Staff will call your student to your car at their assigned dismissal time.

    Please do not get out of your car or leave your car unattended. Park in a designated spot if you need to exit your car.

    Students should not enter vehicles in the middle of the parking lot. Students should only enter and exit the vehicle on the passenger side in the pick-up zones.

    Families with multiple students: Please arrive at the dismissal time of your eldest child.

  • For Walking Families

    Do not approach the dismissal gates!

    Please wait behind the posted signs next to the baseball field gate. Staff will be stationed at the Kinder Gate, ready to call your child to the gate at their dismissal time.

    Please bring your student dismissal sign every day so we can ensure students are going home with the correct adults.

  • Traffic & Safety Reminders

    Both driveways will be open as an exit during dismissal to help improve traffic flow. The driveway by the CARES gate is an Exit only.

    Do not block bus or staff parking areas in front of the front office. 

    Drive carefully, obey all posted signs, and follow the parking lot rules.

    Do not have your student enter or exit your car along Serrano Ave or when you are waiting to get to the pick-up zones.
