Hello Panther Families!
Welcome new and returning students and families to Anaheim Hills Elementary School. Over the summer the PTA has been busy planning various fun events and school programs that will take place throughout the upcoming school year. I hope you will join us for these family oriented school activities!
The PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy association in America. Today’s PTA is comprised of members who share a commitment to making a difference in the education, health and safety of all children. It is an organization that promotes collaboration among parents, the school and the community. The number one reason to join the PTA is to benefit your child, but every individual who joins the PTA helps not only his or her own child but every child. Your children are important to you and they are important to us! Children will learn more and perform better in school when parents are involved in their education and of course children all enjoy having the support of their family members.
It is because of the strong volunteer efforts of our parents and the dedication of our teachers that we are able to offer so many academic and family activities throughout the school year. Our fundraising helps provide technology, classroom writing tools such as RazKids, art programs, music assemblies, and wonderful events like our Halloween Trunk or Treat, Imagination Machine, and so much more!
Please take the time to read about our many committees, and fill out the Volunteer Request and PTA Membership forms, all of which can be found in our AHES Panther website. Your involvement is how our PTA stays strong and our children achieve success!
I invite you to stay informed of our upcoming events by joining the PTA President’s CONFIDENTIAL email list, bookmarking our website www.ahespta.org, and attending PTA meetings. Younger siblings are always welcome to attend.
I welcome your feedback so please contact me anytime about our AHES PTA events and activities if you have any questions or comments. I am here to assist you in any way that I can. I hold this opportunity in high regard and I look forward to meeting and working with each of you! Thank you and let’s have a wonderful school year!
